How the ranges are chosen
The page looks up one cell in the published table. DIY stays at$0 to about $216 per year whatever the page count. A freelancer's published band moves from $500 to $1,500 at one page to $5,000 to $15,000 at 20 or more. An agency's moves from $2,000 to $5,000 to $15,000 to $50,000across the same sizes. 3 to 5 pages is $1,000 to $3,000 freelance and$4,000 to $10,000 at an agency. 6 to 10 pages is$2,500 to $6,000 and $8,000 to $20,000.
Page count is a weak signal. Ten pages that share one layout can be less work than three pages with a custom design and a booking tool. That is why the checkboxes describe the extra work instead of multiplying the range by a number nobody published.
The one sourced add-on
Paid copy, from the same guide, is roughly $100 to $300 per page. It is mentioned only when "Copywriting needed" is ticked, and it is not folded into the headline range, because the guide lists it separately.
Questions
Is this what Maxverse Lab charges?
No. The figure is a typical market range from a third-party guide, Adviita's "Website cost by page count" (July 2026). It is not a quote from us. A fixed figure for your brief comes from the quote form.
Why is the DIY range the same at every page count?
In that guide the DIY builder figure is a yearly subscription, up to about $216, and it does not step up with the number of pages. Freelancer and agency ranges do.
Why don't the checkboxes change the dollar range?
The guide does not publish a dollar add-on for custom design, booking, a store, a second language or maintenance. Inventing one would pretend to be more precise than the source. Copywriting is the exception: the same guide puts it at roughly $100 to $300 per page.
Where do the ranges come from?
Adviita, "Website cost by page count", July 2026. A 1-page freelancer build is $500 to $1,500 and an agency build is $2,000 to $5,000. At 3 to 5 pages those bands are $1,000 to $3,000 and $4,000 to $10,000. At 6 to 10 pages, $2,500 to $6,000 and $8,000 to $20,000. At 20 or more pages, $5,000 to $15,000 and $15,000 to $50,000. The DIY band is $0 to about $216 per year at any size.
Is anything sent anywhere?
