Canada has the same clock problem as the US and one extra thing that catches people out: if you sell into Quebec, French is not a nice-to-have on the site. Both are worth knowing before you pick who builds it.

Computed

Worked out from the timezone database when this page was built, against a 9–6 working day at each end — not typed in, so it stays right when the clocks change. Our studio week is Monday to Friday.

How we work with clients in Canada.

CAD

Canadian work is quoted in Canadian dollars. Toronto and Vancouver are not the same clock, and a site that sells into Quebec needs French that is as good as the English.

Two coasts, quoted as two clocks

Toronto and Montreal share a zone. Vancouver is two or three hours further from us. We do not print one Canadian overlap and hope. Each coast has its own window at the top of this page. Toronto's moves by an hour twice a year, because Ontario changes its clocks and we do not. British Columbia stays on UTC-7 all year from November 2026, so Vancouver's does not move. Email is the primary button, same reason as the US page.

Canadian dollars, and French when Quebec is in the market

The quote is in CAD. If Quebec is part of where you sell, the French has to be on the site and it has to be as careful as the English, with hreflang set. We build websites. The legal reading of Quebec's language rules is for someone who does that work. We will say plainly whether the plan you described needs the French or does not.

What's different here.

Canada

French, if Quebec is in your market

Quebec's language law reaches commercial websites, and the practical bar is that the French has to be there and has to be as good as the English rather than a machine pass nobody read. We build bilingual sites as one project with hreflang set correctly, and we will say plainly if your plan needs it or does not — we build websites, so take the legal question to someone who does that, but do not let anyone build you a site that ignores it.

Two coasts, two different projects

Toronto and Vancouver are two or three hours apart, depending on the time of year, and both are a long way from us. The windows at the top of this page are worked out per coast, because quoting one Canadian number would be wrong for one of them. Toronto is the easier of the two by some distance.

Written by default

With no shared office hours, the projects that go well are the ones where the trail is written down: updates you can read at your own start of day, a staging URL that is always current, and decisions recorded rather than left in a call nobody minuted.

Questions from Canada.

FAQ

None inside a normal office day, on either coast. We cover your morning in our evening. Toronto is the easier of the two. Vancouver lands later in our night, and we say which of those calls are live and which are better as a written note. Both windows are at the top of this page, Toronto's with the months each figure holds for.

When Quebec is in the market, yes: one project, French and English, hreflang set so the right language is served. A machine pass nobody read is not that build. If your plan does not sell into Quebec, we will say the French is not required rather than adding it for show.

No. We are a remote studio, and the project runs on written updates and a staging URL you can open at the start of your day. Print and corporate gifts are produced in Pakistan and are not offered for delivery to Canada.
