Media Nexus
How we built the Media Nexus store: a WooCommerce shop for a Pakistan pro-video and broadcast gear dealer, with a deep category tree, search and PKR prices.
The client.
OverviewMedia Nexus sells professional video and broadcast equipment in Pakistan. Its site describes the business as Pakistan's authorised OSEE dealer, selling GoStream video switchers, cameras and broadcast gear.
The goal.
BriefAn equipment dealer with a large, technical catalogue needed a store where a buyer can find the exact product fast. That meant browsing by category or searching by model, seeing the price in rupees, and ordering or asking a question on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.
What we built.
Build- Built the online store on WordPress with WooCommerce, laid out with Elementor.
- A category tree for the whole range: cameras, lenses, lighting and studio, studio production, pro audio, cables and connectors, camera accessories and used equipment. Each has its own sub-categories in the menu.
- Store-wide search in the header, plus a cart, a wishlist and customer accounts.
- Product listings that show PKR prices, including sale prices.
- Contact paths on every page: email, phone and WhatsApp in the top bar, plus About, Services, Contact and Blog pages and a newsletter sign-up protected by reCAPTCHA.
- Responsive: on phones the menu and search fold into icons, and the categories become a tap-friendly grid.
